What is the freedom fund banquet?
The Freedom Fund Banquet is an annual celebration held each October to recognize recipients of our Community Awards and Lake County high school students receiving NAACP awarded college scholarships. It is our signature fund raising event providing support for future scholarship awards, NAACP sponsored community events like our Martin Luther King Day annual celebration and Juneteenth. It also supports events and programs for youth. It's a great opportunity for networking and identifying opportunities for you to increase your engagement with the important work of the NAACP.
